Stopped you in your tracks, didn’t I?  That happens a lot.  Chocolates boys like me just draw attention wherever we go.  I’ll introduce myself: I’m Red and I’m a three year old Lab mix built like a tank.  I came into rescue without knowing much about being part of a family but I’m learning very fast.  A big dog like me really does need to know some manners so I’m trying hard to figure out everything I need to know.  I’ve already picked up basic commands and I’m walking very nicely using a no-pull device.  Still, it’s probably better for me to go to a new home with no kids younger than twelve because I just don’t know my own size and could bowl over any unsuspecting child.  Since I’m still learning how to behave, I’d relish an experienced dog owner to help train me.  Of course I’m house trained and crate trained.  I’m very loyal to anyone who gives me attention and I will do whatever I can to please.  If you’re ready to find yourself attached to the center of attention wherever you go, ask about me!
