She is 1-2 yrs old.  She is a yellow lab who has been working with a trainer.  Mptdq!  Oops!  Hard for you to understand me when I have my favorite stuffed giraffe in my mouth!  I’m Acadia and I’m so pleased to meet you!  I’m a two year old Lab/Golden mix and adore people of all shapes, sizes, and scents!  I’m a playful girl.  My foster mom laughs because I know how to play with the tennis ball by myself if I can’t convince anyone to play with me: I toss it under the sofa and run to the other side to intercept it!  That usually gets someone to stop and play with me!  I’m a very smart dog.  In fact, I’m so smart that I just spent some time with a wonderful trainer who taught me all sorts of things in a very short time.  What I learned the most was that I don’t have to be nearly as uncomfortable around other dogs as I had been.  I’m so much less insecure around them now.  I will tell you a secret, though.   I still would prefer to be the only dog in the house so that I can have maximum play time with my people.  I’m good on the leash and I am a quick study.  And have you seen my photos?  People always ooh and gush over how pretty I am.  Grab a tennis ball and come on over to play!
