Greetings!  I’m thrilled to meet you!  My name is Spock and I adore people and other dogs.  Cats are a mystery as I don’t remember ever meeting one.  Bet you can’t guess my age!  No fair, I forgot it is listed right there for you!  Yes, I’m nine years old but nobody believes it.  I have an admirable amount of energy for a young senior dog.  Certainly not like those hyper youngsters but more than enough to keep up with my people.  Speaking of people, I really do love to hang around humans.  Give me a little attention and I’m a happy dog.  Then I will settle down and let you get back to the tasks that humans tend to do, content just to be part of the background.  I know lots of commands and am very obedient.  You should see how well I walk on a leash!  Hey, if you are looking for a loving, sweetheart of a dog, you can’t do better than me!
